Went to the downtown Post Office in Eugene yesterday. The line moved at a decent pace. Four clerks were helping customers ... all four had long hair ... only one was a woman and her hair wasn't the longest in the quartet.
Middle-aged Eugene hippies that ended up with real jobs ... workin for the MAN even. I wonder how long each has worked for the US Postal Service.

ok so maybe i'm a bit out of the loop but i didn't know you were in EUGENE! my aunt's family is from there, some of my cousins' other cousins grew up there, and it's like, common knowledge and widely accepted that you don't grow up and escape there without smoking pot at least once. fun, huh! hope all's well, you are the gem of gems.
Perhaps if you are going to work for "the man" then the postal service is the way to go...
